Manages and directs a business operations organization supporting program/product areas. Responsible for managing a team of business finance, planning, and contracts professional staff ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analyses, financial estimating, configuration management and proposal support. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Requires International travel. Position duties includes Financial/Program Control responsibilities in support of International programs in areas of contract budgeting/reporting, sales, overhead, proposal pricing and long range planning. Specific examples of the types of duties would include: Contract invoicing, budgeting, reporting, forecasting program cost, Subcontract/IWTA establishment, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash and controllable overhead, Financial chart preparation in support of Program Management Reviews, generation/fact-finding/updating/negotiations of proposals, small business reporting, fundingrequirement analysis, and monthly estimates to compete.
Job Requirement:
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Management or supervisor experience, financial planning experience, proposal and pricing experience, familiarity with accounting, finance, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement. Strong business perspective with previous business operations, program managmeent or project management experience. Integrative and collaborative leadership style with strong negotiation and communication skills. Previous International Business Experience, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
