At its core, CURA has two main components; one being the application itself (the front-end) and the other being the relational database management system.

With hosted data, we take the responsibility of server administration out of your hands and provide a secure and redundant server setup at the world acclaimed database center Rackspace. There is 100% network uptime guarantee, and a 1 hour hardware replacement guarantee. Read more about Rackspace.

The Candidate, Client and Job Order Modules in CURA provide comprehensive, user friendly screens that allow users to customize their personal view so that all information within a record is displayed in one screen. This eliminates unnecessary clicks and reduces the length of time it takes to retrieve specific information within a record.

Resume (CV) Parsing

Resumes (CVs) can be used to create new candidate records in CURA (applicant tracking system) using a built-in resume software tool known as PARIS (Personal Advantage Resume Input System). PARIS automatically scans the resume (CV) for the candidate’s full name, contact information and skills and automatically creates the record with the scanned information. CURA (applicant tracking system) accepts resumes (CVs) in Word, Rich-Text and HTML format. You can choose to upload a single resume (CV) or upload a batch of resumes (CVs) using Batch PARIS. PARIS keeps data entry to a minimum and it indexes resume (CV) keywords for simple and effective searching on skills and other pertinent information.

Job Order and Candidate Matching

A candidate match list is automatically generated when a new job order is created. This feature provides you with a list of qualified candidates whose skills match the job requirements. The match list displays candidates by rank so you can determine which candidates best match the job requirements. You can also easily modify the match list at any time to include your preferred candidates. The candidate match list provides recruiters with an effective way to go through the process of matching and placing the ideal candidate to the job.

Ad-Hoc Report Builder

The CURA (applicant tracking system) database can manage all of your company’s data, but ultimately you’re going to want the ability to output that data into a hard copy report.  CURA (applicant tracking system) comes with a variety of built-in reports developed using Crystal Reports.  Our Ad-hoc reporting tool allows you to build additional custom reports using the data stored in your CURA (applicant tracking system) database.  Ad-hoc reports can be saved and modified at any time. Reports generated in CURA (applicant tracking system) can also be exported into various formats such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PDF or sent to a printer for printing. Using Crystal Reports, our support team can also design custom reports for you which can then be installed into your CURA (applicant tracking system) application.

Documents or pictures can be easily attached to any candidate, client, job order or recruitment record. These documents are stored within the CURA (applicant tracking system) database and can be accessed using any Internet Explorer enabled computer with an internet connection. You may choose to use this feature to store multiple resumes (CVs) for a candidate (automatically archiving historical resumes (CVs), store various resume (CV) formats (i.e. PDF), cover letters, reference checks and other electronic documents or scanned items.

Dynamic Schedule

Scheduling across modules allows phone calls, interviews and other events to be linked to all records associated with an event. This may be relative to candidates, client contacts and job orders. You can even invite other recruiters within the firm to a scheduled event, making that item visible in their respective calendars. Each event appears on a separate schedule built into each of the records, so candidates and client contacts can review their own schedule simply by logging in. Candidates are also able to schedule their own availability, allowing recruiters to confirm their availability without picking up the phone

Multi-Level Security

Three tiers of security are available in CURA (applicant tracking system), allowing you to specify precisely what information can be inserted, viewed, modified or deleted by each user. You can create multiple user groups for your database users and each user group (recruiters, candidates, line managers and administrators) will have three levels of security:

Module – restricting which modules can be accessed
Table – restricting ability to insert, view, modify and delete information from tables across all modules
Field - restricting ability to view and/or modify information from any field within each table in each module in the database.

AJAX Technology

mindSCOPE has implemented AJAX technology, giving CURA the power to run faster than ever. Loading time has been drastically reduced on profile pages and tables.

The intent is to make web pages feel more responsive by exchanging small amounts of data with the server behind the scenes, so that the entire web page does not have to be reloaded each time the user requests a change. This feature will effectively increase the web page's interactivity, speed, functionality, and usability.
