Check PARIS SKILLS Table Consistencies

1. From the Menu Bar click on Maintenance.
2. Arrow down to Check PARIS SKILLS Table Consistencies.
3. Click on it.
4. To continue click on Yes.

This function will check the consistency of all skills found in the PARIS Skills table. If mindSCOPE finds an inconsistency it will repair it automatically. Once you click on "Check PARIS SKILLS Table Consistencies" mindSCOPE pops up a warning.

mindSCOPE will then search your database and verify the consistency of your files, and then displays its progress in the bottom left corner.

When finished, mindSCOPE will inform you of any inconsistencies that it found.

For more PARIS Admin options, we must head Back to Preferences:

1. From the Menu Bar click on View.
2. Arrow down to Preferences.
3. Click on it.

PARIS Options

Think of PARIS as an electronic IN and OUT tray for all of your resumes. Resumes arrive on your IN tray where the data is broken down and analyzed, and then imported into the various candidate fields. Once finished, the resumes are moved and stored in your OUT tray. By using PARIS Options you can specify one directory for your new, unprocessed resumes and one for your processed resumes.

The first text box is used to specify the folder name from which PARIS will find and move your unprocessed resumes (e.g. "\New"). The second text box field is used to specify the folder name to which PARIS will move your processed resumes(e.g. "\Old").

By using this feature, you are not only saving an archive of all the resumes used to create candidate records but also ensuring that the same resume will not be used again to create a duplicate record.

Below these two textboxes is the checkbox field which allows you to automatically assign consultant names to specific resumes.

Note: To enable this you must first have the consultant name (e.g. Elaine Martin) as the second last subdirectory where the new resumes are to be stored.

1. Click an "x" in the checkbox beside Screen Resume Paths for Consultant Name.
2. To save your changes click on File and then Save at the top of the dialogue box.
3. To exit click on File and then Exit at the top of the dialogue box.
