Preferences: Consultant Security

1. Click an "x" beside each field you want to enable.

Field Explanation

Enable full Consultant name based security

Completely restricts consultants from accessing records in all modules except for those for which they have ownership.

Enable Consultant name based Client security

Restricts access of records to only the consultant who has ownership of the record. This applies to all modules except the Client module. Here, a list of all clients belonging to all consultants in the database can be brought up, however any information, in addition to
the company name, can only be accessed by the consultant who has ownership over the particular client record.

Enable Consultant name based resume security

Restricts all viewing of resumes to only the consultant who has ownership of the candidate record. This applies to the Candidate module, Candidate Summary, Call Form and Send Resume functions.

Enable Consultant Name based Candidate identity security

Will hide all candidate details, including name, except the ID# and the consultant who has ownership over the candidate record. Candidate details are fully visible if the consultant owns the candidate or if the user has ADMINISTRATOR access.

Allows the consultant to share records within a module for each module that is enabled.

Use connect/Login User Name as Consultant Name

Allows consultants to share the same workstation by simply changing the user name, therefore changing the consultant name that is applied to all activity performed in mindSCOPE.

You can disable any of these features by clicking on the "x" to remove it.

2. To save your changes click on File and then Save at the top of the dialogue box.
3. To exit click on File and then Exit at the top of the dialogue box.

Preferences: Audit Logs

All print activity within mindSCOPE is saved in an audit log file if you enable this Feature.
