1. Click on the group in the left
window that you want to edit.
mindSCOPE will then tell you what
permissions the group has.
2. For each group check off which
permissions the group can have.
These are the fields that are hard-coded:
In order for a user to perform a function,
the user must belong to the group that controls the
function. For example, for a user to access PARIS (s)he
must be a part of the USE_PARIS group. Groups are created
in User and Group Accounts.
3. If you want the group to have the
same permissions throughout mindSCOPE then select "All
Modules and Functions" from the dropdown menu.
4. If you want to set the permissions module by module
then select from the module options and check off the
appropriate permissions
For example, if the user is allowed
to do everything in Candidate Notes except delete, check
off "Read Data," "Insert Data,"
and "Update Data" but leave "Delete Data"
unchecked.
5. Do this for each option in the
dropdown list and click OK.
If you are editing an existing permission,
mindSCOPE will tell you that you've changed the permission
and ask you if you'd like to "assign these permissions
now".
6. Click on either Yes or No.
